First Disbursements for Fall 2017 financial aid is scheduled to begin the week of September 11, 2017 and will continue as an ongoing process This process involves the Office of Financial Aid reviewing enrollment status and ensuring all federal guidelines are met before disbursing state, federal, and institution aid.
The Office of Financial Aid awards all aid based on being full-time (12 or more credits).During the add/drop period, students often change their enrollment status. The Office of Financial Aid must review enrollment to ensure that correct award amounts are offered and disbursed to students. If any adjustments are required due to changes in enrollment and initial awards, this is completed before the aid is disbursed and refunds are issued. This process ensures that all federal guidelines related to disbursing federal, state and institutional aid are met.
