International Arrivals at BWI Marshall Airport

As international air service grows at BWI Marshall Airport, technology helps expedite your entry, or re-entry, into the United States.

Working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), BWI Marshall Airport offers three options for passengers to move through the immigration process as rapidly as possible.

If you have any questions upon arrival, just look for a friendly BWI Marshall Airport Ambassador in a red vest.  They will be happy to assist you.

Global Entry

Global Entry is a CBP-operated, members-only program that allows expedited clearance for low-risk travelers.  Travelers must be pre-approved for the Global Entry program prior to flying.  All applicants must possess a U.S. passport or permanent resident card, pay a non-refundable $100 application fee, undergo a rigorous background investigation with fingerprint check, and complete an in-person interview with a CBP officer. Global Entry membership is good for five years.  Global Entry kiosks are available in BWI Marshall Airports’s immigration hall.
