How to Apply
- Review the Application Requirements
- Review the NursingCAS application instructions. Once you create an applicant account in NursingCAS, be sure to select the Rosalind Franklin University DNP Entry Level program.
- Submit an Application & Fee
- Please submit your application and fee through NursingCAS
- NursingCAS applications are available on August 11, 2022, with a submission and verification deadline of December 14, 2022.
- Select candidates will be invited to interview virtually.
- Virtual interviews will be held from October to February.
- Due to a limited number of interview slots, applicants are encouraged to complete the application requirements in advance of the December deadline for priority consideration.
- Submit Official Transcripts
- Please submit transcripts from all universities and colleges attended to NursingCAS according to these instructions.
- Only official transcripts will be accepted.
- If you have studied outside the U.S., you will need to have your transcripts evaluated for U.S. equivalency using the instructions provided by NursingCAS.
- Submit Resume / CV with Reference List
- Upload to their NursingCAS application a copy of their current resume or CV that includes the names, titles, and contact information for three professional references who know the candidate personally and can attest to the candidate’s performance. Each reference should know you in one of the following capacities:
- Professor or faculty member from your nursing education program.
- Your current immediate nursing work supervisor (i.e. the person responsible for your annual nursing employment performance review).
- A physician whose patients you routinely take care of in your critical care nursing employment position.
- Upload to their NursingCAS application a copy of their current resume or CV that includes the names, titles, and contact information for three professional references who know the candidate personally and can attest to the candidate’s performance. Each reference should know you in one of the following capacities:
- Submit Standardized Test Scores
- Official TOEFL scores report from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of any applicant who does not hold US citizenship or permanent residency. TOEFL scores can be reported to Rosalind Franklin University by ETS at Institution Code: 1117. The admissions committee will consider waiving the TOEFL requirement if an applicant meets any of the below criteria:
- An applicant has been a full-time student in a United States college or university for at least two consecutive years.
- An applicant is from a country in which English is the primary language.
- Official TOEFL scores report from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of any applicant who does not hold US citizenship or permanent residency. TOEFL scores can be reported to Rosalind Franklin University by ETS at Institution Code: 1117. The admissions committee will consider waiving the TOEFL requirement if an applicant meets any of the below criteria:
- Submit "Career Motivation" Essay
- Applicants are required to submit a short essay explaining why they want to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Upload Licenses and Certificates
- Upload proof of current unencumbered licensure as a registered professional nurse in the United States, its territories or protectorates
- Background Check
- Prior to matriculation, students must pass the Rosalind Franklin University background check.
