All students will be expected to present their doctoral projects during an on-campus research symposium held in the spring of the student’s senior year. Completion of a poster or podium presentation is required for all students regardless of the type of doctoral project they are completing (E-portfolio, JBI, faculty supervised research).

Wisconsin Association of Nurse Anesthetists

The Wisconsin Association of Nurse Anesthetists hold meetings throughout the state every spring and fall. Students from RFU and the Wisconsin nurse anesthesia programs are invited to give educational lectures to practicing CRNAs and other SRNAs to enhance their knowledge on pertinent anesthesia topics. RFU students have been presenting at WIANA meetings for several years through podium presentations and poster presentations. This is a great opportunity for CRNA residents to develop their public speaking, network with other CRNAs, and disseminate the work they have done while in the program. Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists

The Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists hold meetings throughout the state every spring and fall. The Joanna Briggs Collaboration originated with the founding of The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) within the University of Adelaide, South Australia in 1996. Rosalind Franklin University (RFU) joined this collaboration in 2016. Together, our mission is “to facilitate the synthesis, transfer and implementation of the best available evidence to ensure the feasibility, appropriateness, meaningfulness and effectiveness of health policy and practice.”

All School Research Consortium

The All School Research Consortium (ASRC) is held Annually on the third Wednesday in March. This University-wide, student-run event, highlights student research and reinforces the University's Interprofessional Mission. The event serves as a vehicle to bring the University scientific community together, encourage communication across disciplines and educate graduate and professional students.
