About the College
Scholl College students learn alongside students from other programs, with an interprofessional focus that encourages team-based learning. We enroll students whose applications show they are prepared to study podiatric medicine. Our students achieve academic success and demonstrate personal growth and professional motivation.
Scholl College is recognized for its exceptional clinical education, in part because of clinics located adjacent to the university’s campus, as well as on the campus of a local hospital. A well-rounded medical curriculum, designed by renowned faculty, will expose you to emerging technologies and prepare you to serve in the interprofessional and multidisciplinary medical care delivery system. Scholl students participate in multiple rotations, including ER, internal medicine, surgery, and podiatric medicine and surgery at the nationally renowned John H. Stroger, Jr., Hospital of Cook County and other leading Chicago teaching hospitals.
Our alumni serve in key leadership roles at both the state and national levels; engage in scholarly activity and research that continues to advance the profession; contribute to educating new and future podiatric physicians through clerkship and residency training; and provide high-quality care and service to their local communities.
