Research

The Mueller Lab uses crystallography, biochemistry and yeast genetics to investigate:

• the structure/function relationship of the mitochondrial ATP synthase.
• Understanding the structure and function of the gene product and regulation of the gene, Cln3, defective in the juvenile form of the neurodegenerative disease, Batten disease.  Understanding and treating neurodegenerative diseases.
