Associate Professor

Dr. DiLiberto has a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy. He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Emeritus through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He completed a PhD in Health Practice Research, specializing in foot and ankle biomechanics, at the University of Rochester. Dr. DiLiberto’s research examines foot and ankle biomechanics in pathology and rehabilitation. He is specifically interested in examining the physiological and biomechanical underpinnings of movement impairments in people with Diabetes Mellitus and ankle osteoarthritis, with the intention of developing new and effective treatments for these populations.
