Dr. Rachel Neu, PharmD, MPharm, BCPS
Rachel Neu, PharmD, MPharm, BCPS, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She obtained her Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland and subsequently practiced as an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist in Malaysia. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, during which she served as the Chief Resident of her residency class and was named the Southeastern Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SMSHP) Resident of the Year. She completed a PGY2 Internal Medicine Residency at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Glenview, Illinois. Dr. Neu’s primary interest areas include transition of care, cardiology, nephrology, and anticoagulation.
She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). She serves on the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) Professional Affairs Committee and is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), and Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists (ICHP).
