Robert Palmer, MD

Instructor & Learning Community Mentor

Dr. Robert Palmer had two dreams when he was 10 years old – one was to be a physician, and the other was to work at Target.  Although the Target dream didn’t pan out, he is gratefully and graciously living out his other dream today.

Dr. Palmer received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 2004. He is currently a diagnostic radiologist specializing in Musculoskeletal and Women’s Imaging at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.

Dr. Palmer’s interests include being an active bodybuilder for the past 30 years, personal trainer the last 10 years, and firefighter the last 8 years. Dr. Palmer is currently a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, so when he’s not diligently working, you will find him training intensively for the next tournament.

Dr. Palmer believes that with simplicity and hard work one can do great things, and just like Hamburger Helper, you don’t have to be fancy to be awesome.
