Dr. Yau graduated from the University of Toronto and obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center located outside Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction and sports medicine with the University Foot and Ankle Institute in Los Angeles. There he practiced for 4 years before becoming an assistant professor at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in the department of Surgery and Applied Biomechanics.
