Dr. Z. Ted Lorenc received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1973. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Lorenc is Director of Medical Education at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital, and he is also the clerkship site director for internal medicine students at Northwestern.
