Project Name: RFU – DCEO Wet Labs

Project Description: Build-out of approximately 19,500 SF of shell space into laboratories, offices, and support spaces. Work requires compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS/.01 et seq. The contractor shall meet the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) goals for the Project set by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). This Project has a BEP utilization goal of 25% with 20% of the grant dollars going to minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs) and 5% of the grant dollars going to Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs). The individual MBE/WBE utilization goals are based on the availability of certified vendors to perform the anticipated direct subcontracting opportunities of the Utilization Plan (UP). Only contractors/suppliers certified through CMS' Business Enterprise Program will count toward meeting the utilization goals for this project.
