The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements have exposed the widespread impact of sexual harassment on a victim's mental health and career advancement. Sexual harassment also harms institutions by failing to protect employees and cultivate the best talent. This symposium will examine the effect of sexual harassment on women and men across the science and healthcare professions, fields in which women often predominate but have failed to reach leadership parity.
