Location*

*We are moving to the main Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) campus! The move is anticipated for summer 2022 and Student Counseling Service will be part of the new Student Health and Wellness Center. Reception for the Student Health and Wellness Center is located in room L.057 in the lower level of the RWCLC building. The Student Health and Wellness Center is just down the hall from the Fitness Center and directly across from the computer lab.

Student Counseling Service is currently housed within the Rosalind Franklin University Health Clinics (RFUHC)-Green Bay Road building. The RFUHC-Green Bay Road building is south of the main campus and directly south of The Woodlands. Turn into the driveway at 3471 Green Bay Road and take the RIGHT fork up over the hill to the parking lot. The main entrance is at the far end of the parking lot. As you walk in the front entrance, you will see a reception desk to your right. Take the elevator just past the reception desk, to the basement of the building (L.L.). Signage will direct you to the Student Counseling Service office and your Student ID will allow you to swipe yourself in to the waiting room area.

Hours*

Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm (appointments required)

*These business hours define when clinicians are available for crisis services and responding to email and phone inquiries. Student Counseling Service offers limited flexible scheduling options using tele-psychotherapy such as early mornings, evenings and weekends to accommodate student schedules.

Eligibility and Cost

Services at Student Counseling Service are available at no additional charge to Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science students, provided the student is currently enrolled, as defined by RFUMS. We are not able to treat non-students in any capacity (i.e. couples counseling with a currently enrolled student).
